🧠 Help Us Shape the Future of Nexgent Access
At Nexgent, we’re building something fundamentally new — a platform where anyone can deploy AI trading agents, customise strategies, and receive real-time signals. But we’re not just building for the community; we’re building with the community.
That’s why we’re inviting your feedback on an important part of our ecosystem: the token-lock mechanism.
🔒 What Is the Token Lock?
To access the Nexgent platform, users lock a set amount of $NEXGENT tokens in a smart-contract vault. This is not a payment or a form of staking:
You control the vault.
Tokens are fully reclaimable once you end your access period.
The lock functions only as proof of commitment to the platform.
By gating access this way, we deter spam accounts, reduce duplicate agents, and keep the network fair and decentralised.
🎁 Why We Started with a Low Lock Amount
When we launched, we set the lock at 25,000 $NEXGENT to:
Reward early supporters
Keep access open and inclusive
Gather product feedback at an early stage
It worked—real users joined quickly, and we learned fast. But that threshold was always provisional.
📈 Why We’re Re-Evaluating Now
Platform adoption has taken off, which introduces a new challenge: quality over quantity. Because agents can detect identical signals, too many lightly-modified clones dilute the usefulness of those signals.
A higher, more meaningful lock encourages builders to think deeply about their strategies rather than copying existing ones, preserving integrity across the network.
⚙️ Operational Perspective
Raising the lock amount can:
Strengthen platform integrity by limiting low-effort duplication
Encourage long-term engagement from serious builders
Enable future tiered access (e.g., premium features or priority bandwidth) without changing the non-custodial nature of your tokens
✅ What This Means for Existing Users
Already locked 25,000 $NEXGENT? You keep full access under the terms you signed up with.
No retroactive changes. If you maintain your current lock, nothing changes.
Unlocking & re-entering later will place you under whatever lock amount is active at that time.
🤝 We Want Your Input
We’re considering several options for new users, such as:
A single higher fixed lock
A usage-based or feature-based scale
Tell us what feels fair. Vote in our X (Twitter) poll and share ideas in Telegram.
Key questions:
What lock amount strikes the right balance?
Should the requirement scale with usage or remain fixed?
How do we keep the platform welcoming while protecting signal quality?
🚀 We’re Just Getting Started
Nexgent’s mission is a long-term, community-powered journey. Your feedback shapes every step we take—so thank you for helping us build a secure, transparent, and ever-evolving platform. 💚
